I’m an outdoor-focused creative and digital strategist with hands-on experience in adventure travel, trail running, mountain biking, photography, SEO, PPC, WordPress, email marketing, and community/event management.

As founder and editor of Under Blue Magazine, I lead editorial direction and produce content across adventure travel, outdoor sports, gear, and active lifestyle stories. My work combines authentic storytelling, real-world product understanding, and a cinematic visual style that helps outdoor brands connect with the people who actually use the gear.

Beyond creative production, I bring a practical marketing skill set: SEO strategy, paid search, landing page planning, WordPress design, email campaigns, content strategy, and audience growth. I specialize in building digital ecosystems that attract attention, grow traffic, and convert interest into action—especially in the outdoor, travel, endurance, and active lifestyle spaces.

I also bring more than a decade of experience managing trail running events, with hands-on involvement in operations, athlete engagement, sponsorship support, and community building. That background gives me a real understanding of the endurance audience and the kind of messaging that resonates.

Outside of work, I live the lifestyle I represent: overlanding, trail running, mountain biking, traveling, and exploring new places. And when the day winds down, I’m usually up for a good bourbon or a well-made cocktail. Adventure and refinement can absolutely hang out together.

Outdoor Industry Success Stories

Outdoor Industry Photographer

Outdoor industry photography is less about perfect conditions and more about showing up when it counts—early mornings, shifting light, dusty trails, unpredictable weather, and moments that rarely happen twice. It is knowing when to move, when to wait, and how to make an image feel like being there.

A big part of that comes from understanding the gear and the environment. Packs, apparel, bikes, camp setups, lighting, recovery tools, and travel products all have a purpose. When you know how they are used in the field, you can tell a more authentic story—one that feels real, not staged.
